Blog Post 001

Hi everyone!

Last year (2024) was a hectic but productive year. As my children grow older, I, too, face the fact that I am also changing. I am still trying to figure out how to run my shop and be a fruitful wife and mother. I do it all to the glory of God, but the challenges were quite testy, which prompted me to want to leave my small business behind more times than I can think.

Owning your own company isn’t easy. There are a lot of obstacles that start small but then develop into moments that challenge both character and integrity. I do hope to soon share some of the lessons I learned in more detail.

This year, while working for myself, I have decided to also return to work for my brother. Late last year, he was hired by a French book publishing company. We are so excited that they were the only ones who saw the beauty in my brother's creations and are willing to join him in helping his story come to life!

In the meantime, I am still working hard to do small yet tedious things like managing several store sites simultaneously. It’s not for the weak of heart. My eldest daughter Julia helped me relaunch the Shopify store and is now my photographer. I am so blessed to have her work alongside me.

My store does have a little of everything, but my mission is to put smiles on the faces of my customers and friends.

If you read this… Thank you!! I’ll be back to tell more very soon!!

Need a lift? Is there anything in it for you because you go to work every day? How do you give the Lord glory through working?

The Bible tells it like this:

Colossians 3:23 (New International Version)

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.

Good men and women, men and women loved by God, work hard.

-Michelle ^_^
